Rally for the RIVER INCREASES AWARENESS OF UBR DANGERS

On Saturday August 26th, Colorado Rising organized the Rally For The River!  We paddled with a purpose through Glenwood Canyon to protest the Uinta Basin Railway proposal’s dangerous decision to quadruple the amount of oil traffic through the fragile waterway. Joined by Senator Lisa Cutter and Glenwood Springs City Councilman Jon Godes, more than a dozen outdoors companies helped put people down the river before partying in Two Rivers Park with Oran Mor, food trucks, and 350 Roaring Fork.
